Our company
A.S.E. BV started in cooperation with manufacturers for which we became the exclusive representatives.
These manufacturers were looking for partners with experience who would be able to add value to the "non-standard" valves. Clients were also starting to ask for this. They were experiencing difficulties finding repair and maintenance service for special valves. We additionally found that large amounts of money were being wasted in the factories of our clients due to an incorrect policy in the area of valves. We had our job cut out for us.
In 2004 we started chipping away at this. After our incorporation we followed a policy of servicing clients needs in as wide a range as possible and in the last couple of years we have branched out and grown into a full-service firm representing a variety of renowned companies.
Ron van de Weerd, General Manager
Following his studies in process engineering and during many years of hands-on business practice, Ron has developed into an experienced all-round expert and entrepreneur in industrial valve engineering, technical services and international trading. Ron van de Weerd has held national and international positions in production, engineering, maintenance, services, repair and trading. Ron has successfully headed several companies and has been involved in the start-up of new valve businesses and innovative valve products. Ron has also been engaged as a consultant, being asked to help improve existing businesses and make them more effective, thereby creating higher value for the business owners and/or their companies. He is one of the founders of ASE GmbH, DuTraM BV, A.S.E. BV. and A.S.E. Repair BV.

Ron: “We are not a firm with a large sales force that utilizes every possible occasion to pay you a visit. We are also not the company you want for the "regular" valve from a large warehouse, with no guarantee as to who manufactured it, acquired in a far-away land - and without that bit of extra service that makes a difference. We help you choose the kind and type of valve (calculation and such), with supply and installation, and supply advice on required parts and maintenance. In short, that bit of extra service needed from the overall view of things (including costs).”
